Signature Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting: Part 1

This is a training course designed by Signamic for students who already have advanced knowledge of both English and BSL. This course provides you with theoretical knowledge and gives you the opportunity to try out new interpreting techniques in a safe environment and obtain feedback on your work. The course content is based on the NVQ qualification specification and prepares you for the relevant Signature NVQ qualification.
The course is aimed at those who have already achieved Level 4/6 NVQ in BSL as well as equivalent competency in the English language. If you are working towards your level 4/6 in BSL and/or A-level English, you will also be considered. The course looks at professional boundaries and ethics, interpreting dilemmas, voice over tips and many other topics.
