What is Interpreting Training Development?
This is a training course designed by Signamic for students who already have advanced knowledge of both English and BSL. This course provides you with theoretical knowledge and gives you the opportunity to try out new interpreting techniques in a safe environment and get feedback on your work. The course content is based on the NVQ qualification specification and prepares you for the relevant Signature NVQ qualification.

The course is aimed at people who have already achieved Level 4 NVQ. If you are working towards it you will also be considered. The course looks at professional boundaries and ethics, interpreting dilemmas, voice over tips and many other topics.

Course Outline
This course combines elements of theory and practical assignments from preparing to completion of an assignment, complete with feedback and opportunities to develop self evaluation techniques. The teaching team is made up a group of qualified experienced MRSLIs and deaf professionals, plus both deaf and hearing role models.
